No drop-in advising over winter break

The CFANS Advising Center (130 Coffey Hall) will not be offering drop-in advising hours from December 20 until the first day of the spring semester, January 21, 2020.  Students in need of advising assistance during winter break should set up an appointment with their academic advisor.

Advising hours

Monday through Friday
8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Schedule an appointment for the following needs:

  • Major exploration
  • Course selection
  • APAS and major requirements
  • Academic and/or personal concerns
  • Long-term degree planning (ex. ROTC, study abroad)
  • Probation and/or suspension meeting

These sessions last between 10 and 15 minutes and are intended for the following needs:

  • Add/Drop (one time drop)
  • Course equivalencies
  • Schedule verification and changes for the current semester
  • Quick questions (ex. liberal education requirements)
  • Information about the petition procedure process

You must be checked in by 11:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. for the final appointments. These sessions are for current CFANS students only. Visit the drop-in advising calendar to check advisor availability.
