Homecoming is back for 2025, and so is our favorite fall tradition! Join fellow alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends for the CFANS Sampler and Homecoming Parade Party—a spirited evening of food, fun, and Gopher pride.

We’ll be serving up complimentary barbeque and vegetarian sandwiches, pouring drinks at our cash bar, and playing games before the Homecoming Parade marches right past our front lawn viewing party. This is your chance to reconnect, network, and cheer with the CFANS community—all in one spot!

Taste your way through campus with food and product samples from across CFANS (while supplies last).

  • Apples and grapes developed by the Department of Horticulture
  • Baked goods made with Kernza® from the Department of Food Science and Nutrition
  • Cheese and ice cream developed by the Pilot Plant, Department of Food Science and Nutrition
  • Honey from the Bee Squad, Department of Entomology
  • Northstar Kombucha in collaboration with the Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering
  • Plant-based walking tacos from PURIS in collaboration with the Plant Protein Innovation Center
  • Hands-on activities from the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
  • Fungi activities from the Department of Plant Pathology

Walk-ins are welcome, but advance registration helps us plan. Food and samples are first-come, first-served while supplies last.
