If you follow CFANS on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn; you may have noticed weekly student worker highlights every Tuesday!

This semester, I led a campaign featuring seven talented student workers in CFANS. I had the opportunity to meet and interview each of the featured students at their places of work and showcase them on social media.

This idea was born during the fall semester and quickly built into a collaboration between myself, student multimedia assistant Austin Rimer as the lead photographer, and student graphic designer Laura Dotson as the lead designer. Supervisors in CFANS gave suggestions of students who would be good candidates to feature. From there, I reached out to the students to gauge interest and schedule interviews.

Dotson and Rimer played integral roles in executing the project. Rimer came along during each interview session to conduct a photo session. Dotson brought the vision to life by creating templates featuring photos, quotes, and information from each session.

The posts have been a big hit, leading engagement across CFANS channels.

Directing and producing these features was an incredible opportunity to grow as a professional and learn more about the incredible students that make CFANS so special.
