Celebrating CFANS Postdocs during National Postdoc Appreciation Week

Across every discipline at CFANS – from food, plant, and animal sciences to natural resources, ecosystems, and economics – our postdoctoral scholars are at the heart of research innovation across our college. As National Postdoc Appreciation Week (September 21–25) kicks off, we celebrate these dedicated researchers for playing a vital role in pushing our college's mission forward–bridging foundational science with real-world impact, mentoring students, and leading critical breakthroughs in our labs and field stations.

To recognize their dedication and foster community, the CFANS Postdoc Board has organized a lineup of special events throughout the week:

• Networking Breakfast with CFANS Alumni: Monday, Sept. 21, 9:30 a.m. | Borlaug Commons
• Postdoc Appreciation Lunch: Thursday, Sept. 24, 11:30 a.m. | Room 120, Coffey Hall
• Ice Cream Social & Trivia: Friday, Sept. 25, 3 p.m. | St. Paul Student Center

In addition to CFANS gatherings, postdocs can participate in campus-wide professional development and social events coordinated by OPI throughout the week.
