Spotlight Science: Plant Genetics

Plants are already a major part of our food system, but how do we adapt them to our changing needs? Join University of Minnesota plant genetics researchers to explore the science behind the crops we eat. Investigate bright red plants used in genetics studies, learn about the quest to grow table grapes in Minnesota, and take home a plant breeding project of your own!


Spring Yoga Retreat at the Arboretum

Workshop: The Art of Negotiation

Negotiations occur every day in the scientific laboratory and workplace and often involve issues that are key to research success and career advancement. This workshop module teaches the fundamentals of negotiation relevant to a variety of one-on-one conversations and group settings.
