Bud Break 5K and 1K at the Arboretum

Sunday, May 5 | Check-in at 7:30 a.m. | Race times vary

Welcome spring with the 26th Annual Bud Break! Take a gorgeous 5K run/walk through the Arboretum gardens during the peak of spring blooms. The certified 5K course starts and ends at the Farm at the Arb. The Kids 1K loops around the event lawns near the historic red barn, allowing for a great area to cheer on the little racers.

Gathering Partners Conference

The 2024 Gathering Partners Conference will take place at the Fair Hills Resort in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. The conference will include concurrent sessions, outdoor exploration, and social activities.


Sensory Friendly Saturdays at the Bell Museum

This monthly series provides a welcoming and accessible environment for individuals, families, and children who have sensory sensitivities. Experience the Bell Museum with lowered lighting, quieter sounds, and fewer visitors.


Protein Basics Short Course

Monday and Tuesday, May 20–21

This course for industry professionals features both industry and academia to discuss current and upcoming market trends, give an overview on food proteins, provide basic protein chemistry, cover production of protein ingredients, introduce protein modification for enhanced functionality, highlight challenges and opportunities when formulating with plant proteins, and more.
