The Summer Webinar Series will help you to appreciate plants in their peak season, tackle pests and problems with expertise, identify new plants on your hikes, and much more!
Calling all gardeners, landscapers, and nature enthusiasts- this new weekly webinar series is for you! Join local horticultural experts for a closer look at the plants that grow in Minnesota. You'll virtually explore collections, backyards and gardens from your armchair as you learn more about trees, perennials, edible plants, and more! Each expert will have a unique perspective to share, from ecological to commercial. You'll gain a greater appreciation of the green that makes Minnesota so beautiful, and get tips and tricks for your own garden.
Earn Continuing Education Credits, as applicable
- MNLA - each webinar is worth one CEU credit for MNLA Certified Professional Recertification
- Master Gardeners - webinars in this series are recommended for continuing education!
How it works
Register for the series and get access to all 13 webinars- live and recorded! Each webinar will include a 30-45 minute presentation with time for questions along the way. Webinars will be recorded and available afterwards on a website with handouts and recommended resources.
Your confirmation email will include a Zoom link and instructions, plus a link to the Minnesota Plants website with the schedule, links, resources and more. Each Tuesday you will receive a reminder email and link for the evening’s webinar. Recordings will be available within two business days of each webinar.
Busy schedule, can't watch live?
No problem, you never have to miss a session! Recordings and handouts of each session will be available to watch on demand when you want, as often as you desire! Recordings will be posted within two days after each session and will be available for one year.
Is there a deadline to register?
There is NO deadline to register. All sessions are recorded registered participants will be given access to those recordings as part of the series! So you can register as late as the last session in August and still get access to all the recordings of the previous sessions...you receive the full value of the series no matter when you register!
