CFANS Postdoc Community: We’re thrilled to invite you to this year’s National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW) at UMN - a week dedicated to celebrating you and all the incredible work you do.

• Vegetarian Taco Meal Kit Pickup: Enjoy a delicious vegetarian taco meal kit - one per person, while supplies last! Check out the flyer sent to your email (to postdoc community listserv) for pickup dates and locations.
• Postdoc Appreciation Breakfast with CFANS Alumni | Monday, September 15 | 9:00 AM | Borlaug Commons | Kick off NPAW with a warm breakfast, great conversations, and inspiration from CFANS alumni who’ve been in your shoes. This event is co-organized with the Office of Postdoctoral Initiatives (OPI). RSVP here by September 10
• Plant Potting & Conservatory Visit | Wednesday, September 17 | 1:00 PM | CBS Plant Conservatory (Plant Growth Facility West) | Get your hands in the soil and pot your own plant to take home, then enjoy a guided visit to the beautiful CBS Plant Conservatory! RSVP here by September 15, limited to 20 people.
• Social Hour & Greet at Surly Brewing Co. | Thursday, September 18 | 5:00 PM | Surly Brewing Co. (520 Malcolm Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414). Unwind with fellow postdocs over great food and drinks - food is generously provided by the CFANS Postdoc Board, the Postdoctoral Association (PDA), and OPI. RSVP here by September 15
• Ice Cream Social & Raffle | Friday, September 19 | 3:00 PM | St. Paul Student Center | Wrap up the week with a sweet treat, homemade CFANS ice cream! Stick around for a fun raffle with prizes.
• River Float Adventure at Cannon Falls | Saturday, September 20 | 10:00 AM | Meeting Point: St. Paul Gymnasium | Join us for a relaxing river float on the scenic Cannon Falls River! RSVP here by September 15. The cost is $30/person. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll switch gears and enjoy the beautiful biking and hiking trails along the river instead.
