The annual Borlaug Memorial Lecture commemorates the contributions University of Minnesota alumnus Dr. Norman Borlaug made to fighting world hunger and celebrates those who follow in Dr. Borlaug's footsteps.

"Feeding the world or fueling resistance? Antimicrobial resistance, food production and the climate crisis"
Arshnee Moodley, PhD is the Team Leader of the CGIAR Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Hub, hosted by the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI). With a PhD in AMR and zoonosis from the University of Copenhagen, she has led research on antimicrobial resistance in livestock and One Health approaches across Africa and South Asia. Her work focuses on sustainable solutions to mitigate AMR in low- and middle-income countries.
