Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Initiative

The Intercultural Development Inventory is a tool that measures one's level of intercultural competence as a developmental skill set. Intercultural competence is the ability to adapt behaviors and shift cultural perspectives across cultural similarities and differences.

The IDI is used primarily for presentations, staff development, or as a course requirement. To request IDI codes and/or debrief sessions, please complete this Google Form.

Artemisia Leadership Initiative

The Artemisia Leadership Initiative inspires and empowers CFANS community members and strengthens overall capacity to respond to future challenges in food, agriculture and natural resources by addressing gender-based barriers and improving leadership skills. Our network of students, faculty, staff, alumni and external partners is a catalyst for igniting conversation, sharing tools, building skills, mentoring, and inspiring action that maximizes our workforce and lifts the leadership potential within industry and academia. The Initiative is open to all, and hosts workshops, seminars, and mentoring circles.

CFANS Inclusive Excellence Impact Award

The CFANS Inclusive Excellence Impact Award recognizes outstanding individuals and/or teams actively working to build a culture of inclusion in CFANS. This award intends to go beyond just recognizing good intentions and seeks to acknowledge evidence of impactful initiatives, programs, policies and other efforts that lead to measurable and positive change. Individuals or teams nominated have demonstrated a measurable impact in their efforts to advance a culture of inclusion in the following areas including (but not limited to): research/scholarship, outreach, instruction, curriculum development, policy, campus climate, environment, and/or community.
