‘Welcome Center’ pitched for U of M Landscape Arboretum
The University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen, one of the metro area’s go-to places for fall fun and apple picking, hopes to better serve its growing customer base with help from an upcoming project.
But the Arboretum’s proposed new Apple House and Welcome Center, which is in the designer selection stage, isn’t just about creating a better experience for customers on a mission to find the crispiest honey crisp or the tastiest red delicious.
Arboretum officials say the building will be more of a year-round attraction than the existing Apple House and generate additional revenue to advance the academic mission of the U of M Landscape Arboretum. Read the full article.
