Welcome to Britney Hayes, Cargill THRIVE Program Coordinator
Britney Hayes joins us from the Undergraduate Business Career Center in the Carlson School of Management where she supported students as a career coach for two years. During that time she individually coached hundreds of students, taught eight sections of Carlson's Business Career Skills course, and managed a number of career programs and events. Britney received the 2021 Irene Rossman Award from the Minnesota Career Development Association, and she serves as the vice chair on the UMN Career Development Network board. Britney is also an adjunct instructor for Career and Internship Services, teaching CFAN 3096: Making the Most out of Your Professional Experience. Before joining the Carlson School she supported college students participating in College Possible and Genesys Works, which serve first-generation college students from diverse backgrounds and intersecting identities. She is passionate about using her personal lived experiences to help students and using her professional role to advance issues of social justice and equity. Britney is thrilled to join CFANS ODI as the Cargill THRIVE program coordinator and looks forward to supporting women and BIPOC students in their academic success through mentoring and career coaching.
