"UMN Headlines" shares highlights of recent accomplishments by the University of Minnesota community. The March 2023 installment showcases research co-authored by Voyageurs Wolf Project researchers Thomas Gable, Joseph Bump and Austin Homkes on how humans impact wolf packs in national parks. It also noted a Forever Green Initiative research partnership, which contributed to the city of Edgerton’s test planting perennial grain Kernza to reduce nitrates in its well. The Department of Horticultural Science and Horticultural Research Center also received a shout out for developing the University's sixth cold-hardy wine grape, Clarion.
