Diploma 77 years after prison camp

Ninety-five year-old Hannah Hayano Semba of Minneapolis—a CFANS alumna who completed her food science and nutrition bachelor's degree in 1948—only recently received her high school diploma at her alma mater, Mount Vernon High in Washington, because she and her Japanese American family were sent to prison camps during World War II.
