CFANS Dean Brian Buhr joined President Rebecca Cunningham for a panel on advancing statewide health in Minnesota on September 18.

"When it comes to human health and agriculture, CFANS is at the frontier—getting nutritional outcomes, preserving and protecting our environment, and leading to more sustainable economies. The University of Minnesota is leading in that," said Dean Buhr.

Held on Inauguration Day, President Cunningham moderated the panel with leaders in government and higher education who have broad expertise across diverse disciplines.

"Today was yet another reminder of how honored I am to serve as the 18th President of the University of Minnesota system. We are going to accomplish many great things together. And I am so excited to work with our students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members so that we position this University — our University — for extraordinary success for generations to come," said President Cunningham, reflecting on Inauguration Day.
