Navigating Climate Anxiety
Do you wonder how to navigate the emotional toll of climate breakdown? Dr. Jennifer Atkinson will outline the complex emotional and ethical issues involved in facing the threat of climate change, and offer strategies for students, educators, and community members to stay engaged in environmental work over the long run. Dr. Atkinson will draw on resources from the humanities, psychology, contemplative practice, and post-traumatic growth theory to help participants build the resilience needed for navigating despair and hope in our era of climate crisis.
