Tuesday, October 24 | 12 p.m.–1 p.m.

Come learn about how to maximize your LinkedIn presence. You’ll get a detailed handout and step-by-step instructions on how to have your profile make sense and gain traction. After all, LinkedIn is first a networking tool, second a tool for finding work. Everyone can benefit from having a top notch presence on this professional networking platform.

There is no cost to attend this virtual workshop but registration is required. Space is limited.

Invite your colleagues; all faculty, staff, post docs, and graduate students are welcome!

Important notes: Participants will need to create a LinkedIn profile that's ready to use prior to the workshop. Also, the workshop is interactive so we recommend using multiple monitors so you can view and work with Zoom and LinkedIn simultaneously.

A profile image of Mari Ruddy

Mari Ruddy is an amateur endurance athlete who discovered the power of an athletic mindset when she was in her mid-30s and suffering from diabetes and cancer. Taking on the identity of an athlete reframed for the better her entire sense of self. Mari ran a company that taught people with diabetes to be endurance athletes, and she was a high school Spanish teacher and principal.

During that time, Mari discovered the power of LinkedIn. She has been a LinkedIn coach for groups and individuals for more than seven years.

Mari and her athletic dog, Sam, live and train for triathlons and charity bike rides in Saint Paul, MN where she works as an internship coordinator at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. You can connect with Mari on LinkedIn here.
