Start 2021 and the spring semester off with laughter and learning by joining for the Artemisia workshop Comedy Through the Technical Chaos! Using humor and personal experiences, Shannan Paul will share how she has successfully pivoted from in-person to online comedy by winning audiences over through her webcam. Her tips and tricks are geared to helping faculty and staff improve interactions with their remote audiences.
Miss Shannan Paul is a professional comedian and this workshop will include a lot of laughter. An Artemisia Happy Hour will follow the workshop at 4:30 pm for anyone who wants to stay on.
This virtual workshop is available free of charge to all UMN faculty, staff, and graduate students.
About the Speaker:
A self-labeled Geek, Miss Shannan Paul brings laughter to even the most curmudgeonly of crowds through her storytelling and irresistible smile. She started her professional career working for Fortune 100 companies including Wells Fargo Bank and Bank of America. Since her cubicle days, Miss Shannan has moved on to become a comedian, radio and TV show host, actress, certified Live Auctioneer, and a proud former player of the Women’s Professional Football League.
