CFANS Research Symposium

The 2nd College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) Research Symposium will be held on March 14, 2024 in the St. Paul Student Center.

The Symposium features posters and oral presentations by CFANS undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs, researchers, and faculty. 


  • 1 - 2 PM: Oral sessions (2 sessions)
  • 2 - 4 PM: Poster sessions (North Star Ballroom)
  • 4 PM: Plenary session - Dr. Gretchen Hansen: “Invasive zebra mussels: What we know, what we don't know, and what we can do about it."

Awards for competing posters and oral presentations will be presented at the end of the plenary talk.

For poster presenters:

  • The North Star Ballroom will open 12:30 PM for poster set up. Make sure the poster is ready for viewing by 2 PM.
  • The maximum size allowed is 4' x 4' (any size under those dimensions will fit on the easel.)

Abstracts will be available in printable format on March 8th, 2024.
