Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering Scholarship Gala

Friday, April 26, 5:30–9 p.m.

RSVP to this event

We cordially invite you to attend an evening dinner event that is dedicated to BBE Departmental Scholarship Fundraising. All proceeds will go to support BBE and SSM undergraduate students. The event will feature a cocktail hour with a self-guided tour of the St. Paul campus Bell Museum of Natural History, a presentation of Distinguished BBE Alumni Awards, and a plated dinner.

A Brief History

In 2006, the BBE Department was established by merging Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering with Bio-based Products (which evolved from Wood & Paper Science, initially known as Forest Products). Our Department continues to provide quality education and research in key areas of biomass/bio-based materials including wood and paper, environmental hydrology, erosion and stormwater management, renewable energy, life cycle assessment, bioprocessing and biotechnology, food engineering, air quality, precision agriculture, building systems, and sustainability, etc.

We welcome industry donors, corporate foundations, families, and individuals to pledge different levels of sponsorship to the scholarship fund. Individual tickets are $150 per plate ($80 tax deductible)

One ticket to the event will include Bell Museum admission, a plated dinner, two drink tickets and parking for the event. Space is limited, please RSVP by April 5.
