MSID - Sustainability in Ecuador
6 week full-time internship in Spanish (4 credits) following 7 weeks of coursework and language immersion. Many environmental and agricultural placements as well as opportunities for all CFANS majors.
Ecuador is one of the most biodiverse places on the planet. Explore sustainable development and indigenous practices when you participate in a 6-week internship or research project focused on sustainability, while also immersing yourself in the Spanish language and Ecuadorian culture.
MSID - Sustainability in Senegal
6 week full-time internship in French (4 credits) following 7 weeks of coursework and language immersion. Many environmental and agricultural placements as well as opportunities for all CFANS majors.
Study sustainability, climate change, and sustainable development in Senegal, the land of "eternal spring." You will also participate in a 6-week internship or research project, allowing you to focus your studies on a unique sustainability topic (i.e., work on a farm monitoring irrigation, improving agricultural techniques, promoting organic agriculture).
MSID- Sustainability in Thailand
6 week full-time internship (4 credits) following 7 weeks of coursework. Many environmental, animal and agricultural placements as well as opportunities for all CFANS majors.
Learn about sustainability and food systems from the Thai perspective. Study the benefits and challenges that come with small-scale tropical agriculture, sustainable food production, natural resource management, and growing cash crops—such as coffee and chocolate—in a changing climate. Complete an internship or research project with community stakeholders, farmers, or advocates for sustainable practices.
Study and Intern in London: England
Part-time (6 credits), while taking other classes abroad. All majors and areas of interest possible.
Participate in an internship in almost any field, sample cuisine from around the world, ride on the London Eye, and master the London Underground.
Study and Intern in Sydney: Australia
Part-time (6 credits), while taking other classes abroad. All majors and areas of interest possible.
Experience the dynamic city of Sydney through a professional internship and courses that deepen your understanding of Australian culture.
Study and Intern in Florence: Italy
Part-time (3 credits) while taking other classes abroad. In English. All majors and areas of interest possible.
Learn or improve your Italian while strolling the streets of Michelangelo and Dante. Study art in world-famous museums and work side by side with locals as an intern. Explore contemporary and historical issues facing Italy through excursions around Tuscany, and a study tour to Sicily.
Study Abroad in Dublin: Ireland
Part-time (3 credits), while taking other classes abroad. All majors and areas of interest possible.
Live and study in the heart of Dublin. Participate in an internship, research project, or practicum to engage with the local community.
University of Sydney: Australia
Part-time (3 credits), while taking other classes abroad with local students. Can be arranged through the University of Sydney upon arrival, not guaranteed but many opportunities are available.
