President's Emerging Scholars (PES)

Graduate Students
CFANS Graduate Student Diversity Fellowship
Supporting the development of our student body is central to the mission of the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS). The Graduate Student Diversity Fellowship supports this mission by providing financial support to incoming, academically excellent students with diverse backgrounds and perspectives who are committed to further expanding their experiences through personal and community development. Race, gender, and other protected characteristics will not be considered in the fellowship selection. Nominations are submitted by department leadership.
DOVE Fellowship Match
CFANS will support a second year of funding for all Diversity of Views and Experiences (DOVE) Fellowship graduate student recipients in CFANS programs. The matching fellowship offered by the Graduate School includes a stipend along with tuition and health benefits.
Community of Scholars Program
The Community of Scholars Program (COSP) is a welcoming and inclusive community for Diversity of Views and Experiences (DOVE) Fellows and DOVE-eligible graduate students in research-based programs on the Twin Cities and Duluth campuses.
CFANS President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
The University of Minnesota President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (PPFP) offers postdoctoral research fellowships, professional development, and mentoring to outstanding scholars in all fields. The President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is open to all, regardless of race, ethnicity, or national origin.
