Dean's Dialogue featuring Ricardo Salvador

Thursday, October 28, Noon-1:30 p.m.

Register in advance for the first Dean's Dialogue webinar of the 2021-22 academic year featuring Ricardo Salvador, senior scientist and director of the Food & Environment Program at the Union of Concerned Scientists. Ricardo will continue on topics related to his previous Dean's Dialogue on the role of land grant universities in shaping today’s inequitable agricultural system. He encourages registrants to view the April webinar recording in advance if they were unable to attend.

The 2021-22 theme for our Dean's Dialogue series is "Be the Change..." Over the course of the past two years, CFANS has been reflecting and examining our history and role in cycles of oppression. It is clear that change needs to happen within the college, the university, and higher education. This year's Dean's Dialogue series will bring speakers and programs that explore change and look to the future. With that in mind, this year's theme is "Be the Change..." inspired by the quote "Be the change you want to see in the world."
