Nominations for the Borealis Awards
Nominations are due Saturday, February 1, 2025.
Recognize excellence in the CFANS community. Submit a nomination today for the annual Borealis Night of Excellence awards!
The Undergraduate Student Board, Graduate Student Board, Postdoc Board and Alumni Society Board of the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) have come together to share these awards that will be presented on the St. Paul campus on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
The awards that will be presented include:
- Distinguished Alumni Award
- Alumni Service Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Exemplary Staff Award
- Exemplary Faculty Award (One fewer than five years, one more than five years)
- Exemplary Post-Doc Award
- Little Red Oil Can (Individual or group of individuals)
- Student Leadership Award (One undergraduate student, one grad student)
- Exemplary Student Organization (One undergraduate org, one grad org)
- Outstanding Club Advisor
- Outstanding Friend Award
- Rising Star
- Community Builder
- Cultivating Future Leaders (Nominator must be CFANS undergraduate student)
A nomination is a simple way to recognize someone who has had a positive impact on the college or the CFANS community. Take a moment to submit the brief nomination by February 1, 2025.
