Navigating the Changing Climate of Job Opportunities in the “New Normal,” Sponsored by the Artemisia Leadership Initiative

Artemesia Leadership Initiative: Empowering Individuals for a stronger future
Wednesday, December 16, 11 AM - Noon

A panel of 3 accomplished women from industry will share their perspectives on questions related to the changing climate of job opportunities:

  1. How do you manage expectations around working from home and caring for children at home? How do you handle or advise people on how to handle the extra burden of primary caregiver responsibilities?  How do companies help caregiving employees?
  2. What is your perspective on the future for job opportunities in the technical/scientific area - short term (18-24 months) and longer-term as we look past COVID?  What new specific areas of expertise should be explored as new job opportunity focus areas?
  3. What mentoring advice can you provide? How have companies changed their strategy when looking for new employees and how should one change their personal focus, profile or approach when applying for jobs? How can job applicants determine which companies might be a good personal fit for them?
