CFANS Research Symposium

The 2nd College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) Research Symposium will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 in the St. Paul Student Center. The 2024 edition of the CFANS Research Symposium celebrates 10 years of work of the Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center (MAISRC). The Symposium features posters and oral presentations by CFANS undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs, researchers, and faculty.

    • Poster presenters: North Star Ballroom will open at 12:30 p.m. for poster set up. Make sure your poster is ready for viewing by 2 p.m. Maximum poster size allowed is 4' x 4' (any size smaller than those dimensions will fit on the easel.)
  • 4–5 p.m. | Plenary session (Theater)
    •  Dr. Gretchen Hansen: “Invasive zebra mussels: What we know, what we don't know, and what we can do about it."
    • Awards for competing posters and oral presentations will be presented at the end of the plenary talk.
