This event is free and open to the public, with Patrick Tranel presenting "Getting into the weeds with waterhemp" in 105 Cargill. A reception will follow in the Cargill Atrium.

Tranel's research program uses molecular and genomics tools to address weed science issues. He's recognized internationally for contributions that increase our understanding of the evolution and mechanisms of herbicide resistance.
