CFANS Dakota Sacred Sites Tour

The CFANS Office for Inclusive Excellence (OIE) and Tribal Engagement & Outreach Office invite you to engage with and learn more about our complicated history with the land we call Minnesota. Iyekiyapiwin Darlene St. Clair, Indigenous Research Professor at the University of Minnesota, will lead our group on a guided tour of several Dakota sacred sites, offering cultural and historical context throughout the experience. She encourages us to consider:
- How has colonization impacted Dakota use and access to these places?
- How have Dakota people asserted a continuing relationship with these places?
