DEI Strategic Planning Committee

Overview

We created a collegiate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Strategic Planning Committee in spring 2021 during Phase 2 of our climate assessment and thanks to their work since then, we now have a DEI strategic plan for the College. The committee has completed their appointment obligations. Going forward our CFANS Office for Diversity & Inclusion and our Committee on Diversity and Inclusion will be taking the lead on plan implementation. 

The committee consisted of 13 members with representation from students, faculty and staff. Four members were appointed in consultation with our SDI consultants, the CFANS Committee on Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) and Dean Brian Buhr. Nine members were selected by a sub-group of the CFANS CDI, CFANS Director of Human Resources Yvonne Shorts Lind, CFANS Office for Diversity and Inclusion Director Jody Gray and our SDI consultants.
